Curious Nature Project

The Curious Nature Project is a seasonal programme of nature-inspired activities and events. Designed to create opportunities for the local community to engage with their shared green spaces, and access a connection with nature right on their doorstep.

Lovelyland is delighted to be collaborating with visual artist Jamila Walker for the 2019 – 2020 season on our new nature-inspired project.

Midlands based artist, Jamila’s practice uses found objects and demonstrates a fascination with minutiae of the everyday. Her passion lies with narrative and visual communication, she finds it a more natural way to engage with the world, through Art.

Programme of Events

Supported by the National Lottery’s Community Fund, the Curious Nature Project passionately believes that children are the guardians of the future. By creating experiences which connect them to the earth, the wildlife we share it with and the food that grows from it, we are arming them with valuable relationships that will help us all as they grow.

Our programme is full of family friendly, fun activities and events based in Shrewsbury and starts in June 2019.

The full events list is available to download as a PDF file.
